Academics at Cookeville Christian School

Students will experience classes in the following subjects:
Bible
English Language Arts (Skills K-2, Knowledge: K-5)
Mathematics
Science
Social Studies
Specials (such as P.E, art, music, and character class)
We will teach foundational skills that lead to fluent reading and comprehension.
We will teach conceptual understanding in mathematics that coincides with procedural fluency that leads to application.
We will prepare students for high-stakes tests, like the ACT.
We will prepare students to be college and career-ready.
We will seek accreditation as soon as possible for quality assurance.

Our academic program is designed to develop critical thinkers, problem-solvers, and servant leaders. Whether students are preparing for college, a career, or ministry, they leave Cookeville Christian School with the tools they need to follow God’s calling in their lives. As an effort to ensure that all students are progressing at the appropriate rate, we will use Universal Screeners and intervene on essential skills.
